The Project Manager will be accountable for supporting and growing the business by providing project management and support for projects and business development. The Project Manager will be a proven leader and provide management and oversight for defined, medium to larger, projects anywhere in the western Canadian region. Responsibilities include ensuring all assigned projects are delivered safely, consistently, and effectively and are profitably managed and compliant. It is vital that the Project Manager supports building the A&H values, culture and brand by providing world class service and quality to all stakeholders.

**Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring each project is completed as scheduled, with the highest level of quality and completed in accordance with A&H standards.
- Assist in quoting and performing preliminary job walks for defined projects if needed.
- Identifies along with the superintendent, all operations aspects of the job including: labour, equipment, consumables, and materials along with any sub-contract requirements
- Responsible for the collection and ownership of completed project data. This includes monthly reporting on the project as well as forecasting
- Responsible for job cost management and profitability for assigned projects, including daily tracking and reporting for billable and non‐billable activities. Monitors KPIs, as defined.
- Audit ongoing operations and identifies opportunities for field efficiencies and standardization of methods to improve margins
- Continuously improve and implement appropriate performance metrics while being held responsible for documenting and creating associated processes, tools, and procedures.
- Provide leadership, direction, ongoing training, coaching and mentoring to new, and current employees
- Develop and build sales relationships within both A&H and the customers' organization
- Assist in resolving customer issues/discrepancies
- Liaise with both internal and external detailing departments, and the shop to ensure project needs are met.
- Collaborate with site supervision while managing multiple projects and ensuring scope, job efficiency and productivity
- Is a champion for safety and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all employees and visitors adhere to safe work procedures for the equipment being operated.
- Promote, demonstrate, and instill A&H values and culture in all aspects of the business

**Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of operating practices and procedures in a rebar shop environment.
- Ability to understand and interpret contracts and successfully execute change orders
- Effective leadership, interpersonal, communication, and troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
- Various construction experience, specifically with commercial and industrial construction
- Exceptional knowledge of construction drawings and documents
- Previous experience planning and completing small projects
- Specific experience with rebar reinforcing, either drafting, estimating, or coordinating
- 5+ years of experience working with projects
- Structural or civil engineering experience is considered an asset
