Shaftesbury has a great opportunity for a **Social Content Creator** to join our Marketing and Communications team. This position is responsible for creating content, including video and graphic-based assets, that support digital strategies, campaigns and social media plans, that drive viewership/awareness for Shaftesbury’s slate of primetime, digital and feature film properties.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Support the creation and optimization of content for Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms
- Capture and edit high-quality promotional video content including EPK, trailers, sizzle videos, Instagram Reels and TikTok videos
- Design assets for Shaftesbury social media channels as required including memes, GIFs, merchandise promotions and more
- Populate and manage content calendars including writing engaging copy for social posts
- Manage assigned social media accounts daily, ensuring that fan/viewer conversations are monitored, encouraged, and cultivated
- Drive social engagement across existing channels, while discovering opportunities on new or evolving platforms
- Support the ‘Manager, Brand & Communications’ to conduct analysis and create reports
- Maintain and update corporate and series YouTube channels/accounts, create assets (banners, thumbnails, miscellaneous graphics) as required
- Assist with filming and sound recording projects as required

**Qualifications and Experience**
- 2-3 years experience in digital content creation
- Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere
- A portfolio that demonstrates a proven ability to create engaging content including video
- Proficient in social content creation and solid understanding of the platform's management systems and best content practice: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc.
- Proficient in Adobe design and layout programs - both technically and artistically: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Experience with motion graphics and Adobe After Effects is considered a plus
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other members of the team
- Willingness to participate in team projects and be a supportive part of a team
- Highly detail-oriented and thorough
- Excellent communication skills
