**Job Title**: Retail Sales Associate

**Role Status**: Full-time and Part-time permanent positions available

**Key Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Deliver an enthusiastic and professional level of guest service at all times. Generate sales through guest engagement and determining customer needs
- Drive sales through recommending customized solutions and maintaining industry product knowledge
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
- Process and cashier transactions using store POS software and equipment
- Provide guests with information regarding all Grouse Mountain products, activities, events and daily mountain operations schedule
- Participate in on-going training and coaching initiatives
- Perform operational activities including; receiving and ticketing stock, inventory maintenance, store merchandising and store housekeeping
- Conduct daily store operations and other related duties as assigned by management
- Assist management during sales events, staff purchase nights and inventory count
- Ensure high standards of Visual Merchandising and cleanliness are maintained
- Maintain a professional and well-presented persona suitable for the Tourism industry
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Able to work regular 6-8 hour shifts within store operating hours of 9am to 10pm
- Previous sales experience with emphasis on customer service
- Experience in outdoor equipment sales an asset
- Ability to communicate well in English
- Organized, energetic, friendly, confident and outgoing with a positive attitude
- Basic ability in Microsoft Office Suite
