**Assistant Store Manager - Staff, all aspects of staff operations.**

**General responsibilities**

All applicants must have the ability to excel in customer service and be willing to engage with customers to improve their shopping experience.

Must be team oriented, motivated, have great communication skills, forward thinking, and the ability to effectively solve problems.

Be on the frontline when required, including serving customers and & resolving conflict situations.

Implement and assist with marketing strategies and promotions.

Manage / participate in staff training programs.

Evaluate and assist in improving operations.

Contribute to improving beginning and end of the day staff meetings: set team goals & personal tasks, share, and evaluate results.

**Specific responsibilities**

Develop staffing strategies and operate within a staffing budget.

Scheduling day-to-day staff shifts & breaks.

Assist in staff performance evaluations.

Manage and participate in staff training programs, including safety workplace course for staff, product knowledge meetings and courses, liquor industry specific trainings (BARS).

Control the use of PPE.

Running emergency and evacuation drills as required.

Assist store manager with cash operations, including cashier floats, staff cash reports, cashouts and discrepancies.

Manage staff uniforms.

Manage all in house janitorial services.

Wage range $20-25/hr based on experience.

Experience in security is an asset.

Full time with standard 8-10 hour shifts.
