Pickup and Delivery Driver: Must have Full size Van or Pickup Truck

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely load, transport, and unload heavy items such as appliances, furniture, and large equipment using your own van or pickup truck.
- Ensure your vehicle is in good working condition and complies with all safety and maintenance requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and handling items with care.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work closely with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate route and schedule

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a delivery driver, particularly with heavy items, is preferred.
- Own a reliable van or pickup truck capable of transporting heavy items. Must provide proof of vehicle insurance and registration.
- Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, often exceeding 75 pounds, with dolly assistance.
- Ability to address and resolve issues that may arise during the delivery process.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Working Conditions:

- The role involves driving for extended periods, as well as loading and unloading heavy items in various weather conditions.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends (on call).
