Telecommunication Field Technician

**You must be able to travel up to 95% of the time, often for extended periods of time. Food & lodging will be paid for by the company. Mileage reimbursement will be paid when a personal vehicle is used.**
**You Will**:
- Travel to multiple job locations daily to review proposed fiber facilities, telecom infrastructure locations, and designs for field accuracy and propose adjustments when needed.
- Take field measurements and photos of utility poles, equipment, cables, proposed equipment cabinets/boxes and street dimensions.
- Collaborate with the associated permit team to review and submit encroachment permits to various state and municiple authorities, department of transportation, railroads, pipelines, etc.
- Walk and work outdoors daily, in most weather conditions.
**You'll Need**:
- a minimum of 1+ years of experience with utility construction in an outside plant environment is preferred.
- Experience with telecom/utility poles, and MDU/HFC/BAU field surveys ispreferred.
- 1+ years of experience with existing and proposed telecom equipment locations.
- 1+ years of experience reading and analyzing utility work prints is preferred.
- 1+ years of experience with aerial, underground or buried telecom infrastructure is preferred.
- 1+ years of experience with IKE GPS or related pole survey equipment handling is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
