**What we're looking for**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure a positive shopping experience by actively greeting all visitors, being visible, friendly and knowledgeable about our products.
- Assist customers in locating merchandise throughout the store.
- Determine customers' needs and recommend the best solutions by maintaining an up-to-date expertise in products, services and promotions.
- Contribute positively to building and maintaining a friendly store and work environment.
- Assist in floor moves and cleanup ensuring a safe and clean shopping environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Perform order management duties such as entering new orders for customers, reaching out to vendors on special orders, tracking and fulfilling orders, and resolving issues.
- Maintain company merchandising standards, including current pricing, signage, promotions and planograms.
- Work collaboratively with co-workers and management and assist where needed.
- Making local deliveries and transfer of stock between warehouse and stores as required.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years sales and customer service experience in a retail environment.
- Experience working with tools either at home or on the job.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Capability to lift and move merchandise up to 100lbs.

- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with computers for data entry.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Work self directed and set priorities in line with overall company objectives.
- Work both independently and in a team setting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
