**JOB SUMMARY**:
Reporting to the COO, the Superintendent is responsible for ensuring proper planning and execution of a 3+ year project resulting in effective delivery and timely results fundamentally based in the areas of Safety, Performance, Quality, Cost Effectiveness, Relationship Building, and Learning.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Working** 5-6 days a week (Monday to Saturday), 8-10 hour days.**:

- Manage day to day operations of project operations to successfully reach established goals.
- Ensure effective and efficient cost management to complete project on or under budget through planning and coordination of timely resources that consists of materials, tools, equipment, maintenance & people.
- Foster and develop internal and external relationships with direct reports through facilitation of professionalism, trust, respect, training, development, & confidence.
- Analyze, review, manage, and distribute all drawing/blueprint revisions
- Provide culture of continuous improvement and development by mentoring and guiding others to access their own talents and goals through management of performance and feedback.
- Ensure accurate and timely reports (e.g. timesheets, requests for repair, Q/C, hazard assessments, safety meetings, inspections, competency forms, etc.).

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 5+ year(s) of construction superintendent leadership, with increasing responsibilities, based in civil construction, electrical, underground utilities, and heavy equipment operations.
- Microsoft Office, FastField, and Field Wire experience
- Valid Class 5 or higher license is required
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Adept at problem solving, multitasking, and team collaboration.
- Outstanding time management and strategic coordination skills.
- Journeyperson/ Master Electrician or Civil Engineering an asset
