Thompson Construction Group has earned a solid reputation as an industry leader in all aspects of light and heavy civil earth moving, highway, mining and plant site construction projects. We are looking for Civil Construction Supervisors (Superintendents, General Foremen and Foremen**) **for our operations **located in the Fort McMurray area.**

**Responsibilities**
- Organize the job site and crew to carry out the project plan
- Assist with the coordination of machine and manpower movement throughout the project
- Establish and communicate tasks to crew members to ensure they clearly understand their respective roles and responsibilities
- Ensure compliance and enforcement of corporate health and safety policies and procedures
- Directly supervise all phases of the project and ensure quality control testing is completed and accurate
- Attend site meetings when required
- Perform work direction talks
- Complete daily reports

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Heavy Civil Earthworks Construction and/or Mining Industry for Foremen and 5 years for Superintendents
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in the Ft McMurray area and live-in remote camps, working a rotational schedule
- CSTS/OSSA, BSO or CSO Certification
- Leadership for Safety Excellence Certification is preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
