As the **Front of House Supervisor**, you will oversee the daily operations of the café, ensuring exceptional service and a positive experience for all guests. You will lead and support the front-of-house team, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and assist with the coordination of events and reservations. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in the hospitality industry who loves board games and creating memorable customer experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and baristas.
- Ensure high standards of customer service, assisting with inquiries, recommendations, and conflict resolution.
- Manage reservations, seating, and table turnovers efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing coaching to staff.
- Handle cash and card transactions, reconcile tills, and oversee daily financial procedures.
- Support themed events, trivia nights, and private bookings by coordinating with the event team.
- Monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Act as a key-holder, opening and closing the café as needed.
- Know and explain some board games to customers

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
