**Site Supervisor - Steel Structure Project | 1-Year Contract | Newmarket, ON**

**Summary**
HMA Construction Inc. is looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the daily on-site operations of a steel structure project in Newmarket, Ontario. This is a one-year contract position, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Oversee subcontractors and trades to ensure proper installation of steel structure components and related works.
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings; enforce company and industry safety standards.
- Track progress and report daily site activities, delays, and issues to the Project Manager.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate deliveries, materials, and equipment required on-site.
- Assist in resolving technical and construction challenges as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, promoting a culture of professionalism and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, consultants, and clients as required.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in commercial or industrial construction.
- Steel structure experience is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of structural drawings, site coordination, and sequencing of steel works.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in reporting and documentation (Procore or similar tools is an asset).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily to the Newmarket site.
