In this position, you will assist the Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations, managing service technicians, and ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
- : Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service department efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- : Provide guidance, support, and direction to service technicians, ensuring that they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
- : Coordinate service appointments, allocate tasks to technicians, and ensure that service requests are handled promptly and accurately.
- : Oversee the progress of service jobs, track service times, and address any delays or issues that may arise to maintain optimal workflow.
- : Conduct quality checks on completed service jobs to ensure that work meets company standards and customer expectations.
- : Assist in managing service parts and supplies inventory, ensuring that necessary parts are available for service jobs and minimizing excess inventory.
- : Interact with customers to address inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive service experience.
- : Support the training and development of service department staff, guiding technical skills, customer service, and company policies.
- : Ensure that all service activities comply with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
- : Assist with various administrative duties such as maintaining service records, preparing reports, and managing documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive service or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are advantageous.
- Knowledge of inventory management and service scheduling software is a plus.
- Proficiency in automotive systems and diagnostics preferred.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Professional and high energy with a history of success
- Organized and process-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy working in a team atmosphere
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
