Exciting opportunity for an experienced Junior or Intermediate CFAA Technician with a minimum of one to five-years industry experience. Ignis Technical Solutions is looking for individuals who are comfortable working independently, who can conduct Inspection Test
Maintenance and Full System and Partial Verification and has the ability to train others.

Technician, Building Code & Fire Code, Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Design Work, Smoke Control
Assessments and Testing, S1001 Certification, NFPA 1031 Inspector, Site Assessments & Audits).
Ignis also provides the successful individual with a laptop and cell phone upon their start date.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Dedicated to customer needs with a solution
- Comfortable to communicate within the team
- Able to manage schedules and priorities while maintaining quality reports with a busy schedule
- Able to attend client meetings and meetings with Authorities Having Jurisdiction
- Customer Service focused with a figure it out mentality
- Able to attend evacuation drills and produce reports
- Forward thinking with good time management skills
- Willing to travel to client sites
- Able to coordinate, and facilitate fire safety training, drills, and exercises
- Able to perform S536 and S537, deficiency repairs, and service calls
- Willing to travel to pick up and drop off parts for jobs with good documentation
- Excellent in their reporting skills and paperwork
- Able to take on other Ad Hoc tasks as required

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1-5 Years Industry Experience
- Up to Date CFAA Certificate with continuing Education
- G Class Driver's license, as travel to sites is required
- Must have own hand tools
- Knowledge of fire protection and life safety including familiarity with building/fire/life safety codes, standards and best practices
- Technically oriented; good analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail; able to complete tasks and projects in established timelines
- Self-starter that exhibits a high level of initiative and resourcefulness
- An individual with high standards who holds themselves accountable
- Confident, calm, decisive, and able to speak to large groups and train others
- Versatile and able to manage varying workloads
- A real team player
- Life-long learner with a solutions focused mindset and mentality
- Ability to establish positive relationships with project team members and clients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset
- First Aid as Asset
- Working from Heights an Asset

**Salary**: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
