**Responsibilities/Duties**
- Assist in the installation of fire alarm systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning fire alarm systems.
- Respond to service calls and provide on-site technical support.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance and repair work.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technological advancements in fire alarm systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and suppliers.
**Skills/Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in fire protection or related field.
- Previous fire alarm experience considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Valid driver's license with use of a personal vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
- Strong ability to work well with team members or unsupervised within a flexible work environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Walk, stand, bend, stoop and/or lifting up to 50lbs as required.
- Climb ladders, work from man lifts and tolerate heights as required.
Pay for this position will be discussed upon assessment of experience.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
