**Responsibilities/Duties**

  • Assist in the installation of fire alarm systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning fire alarm systems.
  • Respond to service calls and provide on-site technical support.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance and repair work.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technological advancements in fire alarm systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and suppliers.

**Skills/Qualifications**

  • Post-secondary education in fire protection or related field.
  • Previous fire alarm experience considered an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Valid driver's license with use of a personal vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
  • Strong ability to work well with team members or unsupervised within a flexible work environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Walk, stand, bend, stoop and/or lifting up to 50lbs as required.
  • Climb ladders, work from man lifts and tolerate heights as required.

Pay for this position will be discussed upon assessment of experience.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
