TRIM/HARDWARE SERVICE CARPENTER

**Overview**:
The Trim/Hardware Service Carpenter is responsible for going to homeowners to install/repair doors, shoemoulding, baseboards, casing, shelves, hardware, etc., cleanup, and perform other duties as required. Your strong organizational, self-motivational skills, excellent work ethic, and attention to detail will ensure that all work is performed and completed in a timely manner, professionally, efficiently, and accurately, and to the homeowner’s satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Measure, cut, install/repair shelves and trim such as shoemoulding, baseboard, casing, etc.
- Install hardware such as door handles, grip set, garage door closer, closet rods etc.
- Operate tools such as mitre saws, table saws, nail guns, drills etc.
- Provide trim/hardware services to homeowners
- Perform service work
- Clean and inspect work areas
- Clean, maintain, and service tools, equipment used in the performance of duties
- All other duties as required
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements

**Qualifications**:

- Carpentry skills
- Have and maintain WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), Fall Protection, and Occupational Health and Safety Certificates
- Own transportation; valid driver’s licence
- Have steel-toe safety boots, hard hat, and tool belt
- Have a reliable cell phone
- Ability to carry up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and goal oriented with the ability to work quickly and accurately
- Excellent work ethic and reliable
- Attention to detail
- Quality workmanship
- Professional appearance

**SERVICE VEHICLE AND TOOLS PROVIDED**

Wage: To be determined based on experience

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:
