**Job Title: Lead Carpenter**

With a commitment to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction, we take pride in creating beautiful and functional spaces for our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Project Leadership**: Take charge of carpentry projects from start to finish, providing direction and guidance to a team of carpenters to ensure successful project completion.
- **Carpentry Expertise**: Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, trim work, cabinetry installation, and other related tasks.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry and company standards.
- **Material Management**: Efficiently manage materials and resources, including ordering and tracking inventory, to minimize waste and optimize project costs.
- **Client Interaction**: Communicate effectively with clients, addressing questions or concerns and providing updates on project progress.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other construction professionals, including project managers, subcontractors, and trades, to coordinate and execute project tasks seamlessly.
- **Problem Solving**: Identify and resolve challenges that may arise during the construction process, offering creative solutions to keep projects on track.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in residential carpentry.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of residential construction techniques and materials and the BC Building Code
- Red Seal considered an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Monday to Friday
