**Description:
- Permanent Full Time- The **Technology Program Manager** is responsible for leading large and complex Digital Technology initiatives, programs, and/or multiple project streams in a coordinated manner to obtain benefits not available from managing them individually.- The Technology Program Manager provides leadership and applies their expert knowledge to work on strategic, complex, and often ambiguous, multiyear programs with substantial business impact. They involve working with technical and business leaders across multiple initiatives. This role supports the business to view solutions that may require the modification of business processes, systems, products, and can require significant departures from traditional approaches across multiple functional groups/areas.-
**What you will do**:
**Program & Solution Management (50%)**
- Manages the execution of the program work in partnership with the business and technology management providing an integrated view of all program activities to stakeholders and executives.
- Builds and maintains relationships with business leaders, establishing a high level of trust and credibility to develop program plans.
- Leads strategic technical program planning across Digital Technology and other areas to support the alignment of the technical solution to meet business goals.
- Works with the business areas and technology to oversee and prepare program roadmaps.
- Engages & collaborates with governance stakeholders to ensure compliance to corporate risk profiles, policies and standards and organizational governance processes.
- Looks at work objectively from macro and micro levels on financial, resource and schedule; bringing forward recommendations such as when to pause, defer and/or re-pivot work to balance scope and delivery against program commitments.

**Project Leadership & Delivery (30%)**
- Provides oversight to a team of business and technology professionals through formal and informal leadership to ensure the successful achievement of program objectives.
- Leads project planning within the program, providing expert knowledge towards ambiguous situations, identifying, and resolving problems across multiple domains, and performs risk assessments, planning, and analysis across the entire program.
- Oversees resource management for the program; working with business and technology areas to assign permanent and/or contract resources to meet delivery commitments.
- Works with the Project Managers to develop and manage an effective delivery network across project managers and other leaders and resolves scope, cost, schedule, resource, quality, and risk issues within a shared governance structure.
- Provides transparency by coordinating relevant data points and metrics to create dashboards and regular objective overviews of the program to various stakeholders.
- Provides training and guidance to various cross-discipline resources on project management strategies, methods, processes, tools, approaches & methodologies.
- Oversees coaching and mentorship, lifecycle, and development of resources, providing guidance on complex issues.
- Steps in as a Senior Project Manager when needed.

**Continuous Improvement (20%)**
- Proactively solicits feedback from the business areas about resourcing and delivery - taking a continuous improvement approach to refine and improve delivery methods and processes.
- Keeps up to date on project methodology changes and regularly communicates/ trains/ updates project and program teams to mitigate risk and remain compliant.
- Seeks relevant tools and/or practices that can be used across various groups.
- Actively promotes and influences the need for continuous improvement
- Champions organizational change and ensures change management strategies align with business priorities

**What you will bring**:

- Degree in related discipline (Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, etc) or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- PMP certified (or working towards)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior IT Project Manager or IT Program Manager in an agile environment in a Fintech, banking, insurance, or technology company managing multi-million-dollar projects.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with colleagues or external stakeholders to positively influence outcomes quickly and confidently.
- Customer centric approach to problem solving with the ability to collaborate, resolve conflicts, and reach consensus with others.
- Demonstrated ability to look at programs objectively from an organizational perspective.
- Demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity, embrace change and seek clarity through a variety of available stakeholders and resources.
- Demonstrated ability to be resilient and creative in the face of difficulty engaging with others to find a way forward
- Is an expert in setting priorities in a fast paced/ demanding environment.
