**Some of what you will do**:
The Staples technology team is seeking a talented Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for how we deploy, implement and support new transformative technologies in our Retail and Home Office environments. Your responsibilities include designing, creating, prototyping and implementing solutions that support store operations, associate and customer experiences. This individual will have a sense of curiosity that leads them to always test new technologies which can be used within both the retail and office environments.

**Specifically, You Will**
- Design, develop and implement solutions to support operational or customer facing systems
- Ensure all development work is directed toward providing stable & secure platforms
- Compose and ensure that documentation, operating instructions, installation procedures and knowledge base information is accurate and up to date
- Provides technical guidance to Staples' retail business unit representatives and IT organizations as required
- Provide 3rd level problem support and work with third party technical support providers.
- Provides technical support for store retail infrastructure components including Backoffice hardware, software, network (wired & wireless), mobile devices and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Evaluation of new hardware, operating systems, and infrastructure components and make recommendations.
- Monitoring infrastructure components to ensure reliable performance, investigates and resolves reported problems, and provides input for capacity & configuration planning

**Some of what you need****:

- Bachelor’s Degree (Bachelor of Computer Science preferred) or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years’ experience doing integration development of multiple pieces of hardware into kiosks or retail solutions.
- 3+ years’ experience working with the systems management tool Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (Operating System Deployment Task Sequence, Software Updates, Windows 10 Servicing, Office 365 Client Management)
- 3+ years knowledge of networking concepts (Ethernet, TCP/IP, and WIFI Networks)
- 5 + years combined experience working in IT supporting a Retail sales environment with multiple locations and managing Windows desktops, servers and POS systems in large scale distributed Active Directory environments. (Windows 7, 10, Server 2012 R2)****:

- Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete root cause analysis
- Assist in deployment risk assessment and mitigation activities
- Knowledge or experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, and jamf PRO
- Knowledge of security threats, solutions, security tools and network technologies.
- Experience in using Microsoft BitLocker Administration
- Self-motivated independent worker, able to lead initiatives from beginning to end
- Good documentation skills
- Someone who enjoys exploring ways new technologies could be applied
- Experience managing small scale projects
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors
- Experience evaluating new hardware, operating systems, and infrastructure components
- Experience working with non-IT business partners
