We’re on the lookout for an **Assistant Service Manager,**a motivated and driven professional looking to learn from the best, make their mark, and grow within one of Atlantic Canada’s most trusted automotive groups. **Learn from Leaders**: You’ll report directly to** Mike Walters** and **Mike Calnen**, two industry veterans with over 40 years of combined experience, 14 of those right here at Steele Chevrolet Their mentorship and leadership have built one of the region’s most efficient, customer-focused service departments, and now they’re looking for someone ready to grow into leadership with their support. **Compensation**: Wage will be commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience. Plus, you’ll have access to training, mentorship, and real opportunities to move forward in your career. **What You’ll Do**: As an **Assistant Service Manager**, you’ll be hands-on in daily service operations. Working closely with our service team to ensuring smooth workflows, and delivering the top-tier service our customers expect. You’ll gain experience in every area of the service department, from managing workflow to coaching team members, all while being set up for success in future leadership roles. Your role will include: - Supporting day-to-day service operations alongside the Service Manager. - Mentoring and motivating a team of technicians and service staff. - Driving quality control and ensuring repairs are done right the first time. - Assisting with technician dispatching and repair order workflow. - Tracking performance and ensuring warranty compliance. - Maintaining a clean, customer-first service drive-in experience. - Learning from experienced leaders and preparing for long-term growth. **What You Bring to the Table**: We’re looking for someone who is _ready to grow_.
