- Receiving, processing, labeling of samples in an accurate, timely, and consistent manner.
- Registration of samples in SLIMS.
- Accurate and timely data collection, analysis and interpretation, and accurate record keeping.
- Adherence to laboratory SOPs, Quality Assurance and Quality Control protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
- Cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory stations and general facilities.
- Supporting laboratory technicians, chemists and scientists as instructed.
- Entering/recording data in LIMS and other records to be verified and validated by senior lab staff.

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma/Certification from a recognized Laboratory Technician, Biotechnology, or a similar program.
- 1 year of laboratory experience an asset.
- Preferred experience in GLP, GMP background.
- Strong work ethic, initiative, punctuality and following through on commitments.
- Proficiency in excel, database user-interfaces, and query software.
- Effective time and task management.
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of GMP and ISO 17025 requirements an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- LIMS experience is an asset.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must pass a criminal background check, education/employment verification
