**Mission**

To ensure success in credit you should have extensive experience with credit analysis, proficiency with accounting software, and high-level analytical skills. Other responsibilities are as follows:

- Designs, develops reports relating to client credit and client accounting: DSO, DSOT, late payments, internal.
- Manage strong relationships with Sales, Customer Service and various Corporate teams.
- Support the development and implementation of sound credit policies and practices that both support sales growth and balance risk.
- Evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers.
- Review reports and analyses to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of current policies and procedures.
- Develop strategies and goals to reduce exposure to write-offs.
- Maintaining strong cashflows through collections.
- Advising collectors on issues and procedures to include analysis of accounts, credits, and others
- Participates in internal audits and risk management, informing management of any event that impacts on client risk in a significant or suspicious way.
- Manages overspending, credit insurance limits etc.
- Deploys the client credit policy chosen by Management and analyzes its performance over a defined timescale.
- Supervises receivable debt recovery teams.
- Manages credit insurance.
- Participate in the configuration of an ERP or of certain modules.
- Creating credit scoring models for risk assessments.
- Reviewing and updating the company’s credit policy.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- You have a college or technical school degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a similar field.
- 5+ years experience in Collections.
- Certification with the Credit Institute of Canada would be an asset

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
