Job Summary:
SAPSOL Technologies Inc. is seeking a Part-Time HST Audit Support Specialist for a 1-month in-person contract to assist with a live CRA GST/HST audit. This is a time-sensitive role requiring strong knowledge of CRA audit procedures, ITC reconciliation, and documentation. The position is on-site only at our Heartland office in Mississauga.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and prepare documentation for CRA HST/GST audits.
- Reconcile Input Tax Credits (ITCs) with invoices and CRA filings.
- Review intercompany transactions and ensure alignment with Excise Tax Act requirements.
- Draft audit memos, schedules, and supporting annexures.
- Maintain clear and compliant financial records for audit defense.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of audit or accounting experience, with exposure to CRA or government audits.
- Strong knowledge of GST/HST rules, ITC eligibility, and audit documentation.
- Familiarity with intercompany accounting and cost allocation practices.
- Excellent Excel and document preparation skills.
- CPA designation (completed or in progress) is an asset, not a requirement.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 1 month (immediate start)
- Hours: Approx. 15-20 hours/week (weekday, flexible timing)
- Location: On-site only - Heartland Business District, Mississauga, ON
- Pay Rate: $20/hour
