**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and decorate cakes to match customer requests, seasonal themes, franchise styles.
- Assemble layered cakes, ensuring structural stability and consistent quality.
- Handcraft flowers, figurines, and other edible decorations.
- Collaborate with clients or staff to capture custom design requirements.
- Ensure all cakes meet high quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation following food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Stay current on cake decorating trends and techniques.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a cake decorator or in a similar pastry arts role.
- Strong understanding of different icing techniques (buttercream, fondant, piping, etc.) and ability to work with various cake decorating and finishing materials
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Creativity and artistic ability in visual design.
- Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Handling Certification (or willing to obtain).
- Flexibility around working hours to meet demands and seasonality of franchise.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in custom cake design and/or bakery.
- Knowledge of trending designs and ability to innovate.
