**Join Our Team Seeking a Passionate Certified Dental Assistant** Are you a confident, self-motivated Certified Dental Assistant who values an independent work environment and a supportive team? We are looking for a CDA that is comfortable to work both independently and closely with the rest of our large dental team. **Position**: Certified Dental Assistant **Location**: Heritage Dental Centre in Mission, BC **Salary**: $27-$37 depending on experience **About Us**: We are a busy 11 operatory family dental practice in Mission, BC. For over 30 years, we have been committed to delivering high-quality dental care within a warm and welcoming atmosphere. **Key Responsibilities**: - CDA to run their own chair primarily with children recalls, fissure sealants, specific exams, digital scans and various other procedures including orthodontic checks for those with their orthodontic module. - Assist chairside for restorative, surgical, endodontic and orthodontic procedures among others. - Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records. - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. - Stay current on industry trends and best practices. **Requirements**: - Competent with "magic" chairs, “Mr. Thirsty”, and catching "sugar bugs". - Must hold a current certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA). - Must be able to work independently. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and commitment to patient comfort. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Having completed orthodontic and other modules are a plus **What We Offer**: - Competitive salary. - Licensing fees covered by our office. - Dental allowance package to be used for dental cleanings or other treatment required. - Uniform allowance. - Team building dinners and events. - Professional development opportunities. - Supportive and collaborative team culture. - Our large staff offers a variety of support and learning opportunities. **How to Apply**: If you are seeking a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a patient-centered dental practice, we want to hear from you Please submit your resume detailing your experience and why you would be a great fit for our team.
