**Account Lead - Workers Compensation**

**About this opportunity**

The Account Lead, Workers Compensation reports to the National Director, Category Management, Worker Compensation and will be working in partnership with Regional Leaders, Operations, National Service Organization, and Corporate Services with a focus on managing existing client contract performance, and engaging and increasing market share with existing clients.

**Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day**:

- Build and foster strong relationships with clinical team members and external stakeholders, including clients, funders/case managers, physicians, and employers, to ensure high customer satisfaction and engagement
- Collaborate and partner with regional leadership to resolve gaps in execution and identify opportunities for improvements to the team and program/service
- Communicate with funding partners, providing them with clinical recommendations, proposed care planning, and rehabilitation and intervention programs to ensure their needs and objectives are met
- Determine appropriate programming/models of care to meet stakeholder needs and expectations
- Work in conjunction with Operations to develop innovative service delivery options
- Develop new programming, workflows, and associated practice guidelines/protocols
- Ensure accessibility to services, and that documentation, reporting, communication, and case management meets/exceeds employer and stakeholder standards
- Deliver timely, professional, and responsive services to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure early client triage into the correct program by reviewing the medical precis prior to assessment and have funder/case manager conversations when clients have higher needs for approval of an alternative program within the same clinic or geography.
- Liaise with funder/case manager in support of access and collaborates with the WCB BD lead as appropriate.
- Throughout the care journey, conduct quality assurance reviews, ensuring the client is in the correct program. If client is higher need than originally anticipated at assessment to progress, the Account Lead will liaise with the case manager to be moved to an alternative program.

**Here’s what you’ll need to be successful**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a Business or Health Sciences discipline, including Kinesiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in health, rehabilitation, or related service delivery organization
- Experience in product or service management and sales
- Demonstrated ability and flexibility to work with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of clinic operations, complex programs, and contract management
