**Job Profile: First Cook / Chef de Partie**

Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, the First Cook / Chef de Partie plays a pivotal role in our culinary team, responsible for crafting exceptional dishes while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization. In this role, you’ll take on the challenge of preparing and cooking complex meals, bringing your creativity and expertise to every plate. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor and guide other line cooks, helping to elevate the entire team’s performance.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- **Create Culinary Excellence**: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods to delight our members.
- **Master Your Craft**: Clean, butcher, and expertly prepare food items, ensuring each dish meets our high standards.
- **Follow Culinary Standards**: Use standardized recipes and ingredients to create consistent and exceptional meals.
- **Maintain a Pristine Environment**: Keep your workspace clean, sanitized, and organized, setting the standard for kitchen hygiene.
- **Stock and Organize**: Receive, store, and stock food items, ensuring everything is in place for seamless service.
- **Mentor and Lead**: Provide oversight and guidance to other line cooks, fostering a collaborative and high-performing kitchen team.

**Qualifications**:

- Red Seal Certification
- Food Safe and Food Handler Certification
- 2+ Years of Cooking Experience
- Effective Organizational Skills
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
