CEDA is seeking 2 Equipment Operators for our upcoming 2025 shutdown in the Conklin area.

**What we offer**:

- ** $44.00 per hour**With a $3.00 / hour nightshift premium
- 1 for Day shift position and 1 night shift position, working 12hr days
- Camp provided
- Tentative start date: March 26, 2025
- Project expected to wrap up mid-June 2025

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide assistance and support to the tradespeople
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment (Zoom boom, skidsteer, picker truck, etc.) in a safe and effective manner
- Maintaining safe work practices
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
- Assist with basic maintenance and repairs as required and keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
- Participate in daily tool box meetings & weekly safety meetings
- Perform a wide variety of jobs using basic construction skills and operating power equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment & housekeeping in immediate work areas

**Role Specifications**:

- 2+ years of labour experience where you have operated equipment such as Zoom boom, skidsteer, picker truck etc. is required
- Certification for Telehandler, skidsteer and forklift required
- Valid class 5 driver's licence (GDL not accepted) and current driver's abstract (no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years) is required
- Valid H2S Alive, CSO certification, Fall Protection (ESC version) are required, **physical copies of certificates must be on site, no digital copies accepted**:

- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDA

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Prior experience working at heights with the use of special fall restraint equipment
- Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
- Experience and comfort with confined spaces such as a small vessel/tank or trench
- Ability to work well in both independent and team environments and manage multiple tasks while working under mínimal supervision
