Garde Manger Assistant

Overview:
Seaside Pearl Farmgate Winery is seeking a detail-oriented and creative individual to join our team on weekends as a Charcuterie & Cheese Board Prep Assistant. This role focuses on preparing and presenting charcuterie boards, sandwiches, and small food offerings to accompany our wine tastings. While no cooking is required, a passion for food styling, quality ingredients, and guest experience is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and assemble charcuterie boards, cheese plates, sandwiches, and other light fare for guests
- Ensure food presentation is elegant, fresh, and visually aligned with Seaside Pearl’s brand
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, food storage, and tools
- Monitor inventory of food items and assist with reordering supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with tasting room staff to ensure timely service of food
- Occasionally assist with setup or cleanup for events and private functions

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in food prep, deli, catering, or similar setting preferred
- Strong sense of presentation, quality, and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Available to work Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional weekday events
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule:
Part-time, weekends (Saturday & Sunday), with occasional event support on weekdays

Compensation:
Hourly wage based on experience, wine perks, and a beautiful working environment

**Job Types**: Seasonal, Freelance
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.85-$25.96 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
