**JOB TITLE**: ECE for after school care

**JOB OVERVIEW**:
HongDe Elementary School is in the process of starting an after school care program for HongDe students. We are seeking ECE certificate holders who are interested in supervising students after school and delivering an after-school care program.

**DUTIES**:

- Supervise and care for HongDe students from 3-630pm
- Communicate with the Manager about students' well-being
- Follow the prescribed program, which includes indoor and outdoor activities
- Ensure students are eating snacks after school
- Follow emergency drills, maintain emergency plan, and communicate incidents to Manager
- Attend and participate in emergency training and exercises
- Participate, review and assist in the development of the Child Care facility emergency plans and procedures

**SKILLS**:

- Valid first aid and CPR certificate
- Knowledgeable and respectful of each child's medication condition
- ECE certificate
- In the previous 5 years, at least 500 hours of work experience relevant to early childhood education
- Good character and personality, temperament, ability to manage or with children

HOW TO APPLY:
**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
