**About Columbia Academy**:
Columbia Academy is seeking trained and experienced individuals to join our team and provide exceptional extracurricular programs after school. This part-time position is available immediately.

We are looking for a responsible individual to support student supervision in our After School Care Program. The primary function of this role is to provide care for students and ensure adherence to Columbia Academy's policies and procedures. This position is ideal for those considering a career in the education sector.

The After School Support role includes 2-hour shifts daily, making it a great part-time opportunity. As an After School Program Instructor, you will have the chance to inspire and engage students in various educational and recreational activities. Your responsibilities will include planning, organizing, and leading structured sessions in one or more of the following areas:

- Sports
- Fine Arts
- Martial Arts
- Mathletics
- English (Reading or Writing)
- Chess or other engaging clubs
- Debate
- Drama
- Dance
- Foreign Languages

Qualifications:

- Passion for working with children and promoting their positive development
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting (preferred)
- Pursuing or holding a Bachelor of Education, ECE (Early Childhood Education), or equivalent work experience/qualification (preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Key competencies in self-awareness, self-management, empathy, social interaction, initiative, and accountability
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Ability to organize student release to parents
