The Position: Pesticide Applicator
Type: Full-time, Seasonal
Reports To: General Foreperson

Wright Tree Service, a business unit of Wright Canada Holdings, provides vegetation management, storm restoration, and work planning services to utility companies and their communities across North America.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pesticide use.
- Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor treated areas for effectiveness and signs of adverse impact.
- Other duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Expectations:
- Valid Type III Provincial pesticide applicator license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, work outdoors in varying conditions, and walk long distances.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, and Driver’s Abstract, with less than 6 demerits.
- Applicant must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Valid First Aid with CPR or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to work as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
- Motivated to learn independently and from team members, with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Comfortable working in noisy environments with proper PPE.
