**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS, while ensuring all requests are met.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including processing payments and providing accurate change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving equipment.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items to provide recommendations and answer guest inquiries effectively.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Micros POS is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
