**Location**: Canada, Ontario, Nepean

**About the Role**:
BMV seeks a seasoned and dynamic **General Manager** with a minimum of **10 years of experience in the optics industry** to lead our organization into its next phase of growth and success. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business, including sales, operations, engineering, and finance. You will be a strategic thinker and a collaborative leader, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence throughout the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the company, developing and implementing long-term growth plans.
- Oversee all aspects of the business, including sales, operations, engineering, and finance.
- Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
- Manage and motivate a team of highly skilled professionals to achieve company objectives.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Represent BMV at industry events and trade shows.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the optics industry, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the optics market, including current trends and technologies.
- Excellent business acumen and financial literacy.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Physics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience with financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
