The wage range for this role is $24.69-$28.91/hr.

**Your tasks at a glance**
- You are the master of keeping our tools clean and sterile.
- You receive, sort, disassemble, decontaminate, clean, assemble, wrap, sterilize, and store instruments.
- You keep accurate records of sterile items.
- You make sure to rotate stock (FIFO) and reprocess outdated supplies.
- You are patient and can stand for long periods of time, while doing repetitive movements and remaining focused on tasks.
- You adhere to sterilization standards and ensure that they are met on a regular basis.
- You will be cross-trained as a _Surgical Assistant _(once the initial training is completed).

- ** Required**:You possess a recognized **_Sterile Processing / Medical Device Reprocessing Technician_** **certificate** (MDRT) and a **current**Canadian Standards Association (CSA)**certificate.**:

- You are meticulous, precise, rigorous, patient and focused, no detail can escape you.
- You have a sense of responsibility and take your role seriously.
- Your experience in the field of ophthalmology and/or optometry is considered an asset.
- ** Schedule**:You are available to work Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (flexibility required for occasional Fridays and Saturdays).
