**Overview**:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Junior to Intermediate, Administrative Clerk / Legal Administrative Assistant

**What you will be doing**:

- Prepare open matter reports and request/gather all necessary client documentation
- Prepare closed file reports, strip files, organize file materials in boxes
- Print / copy / scan / save documents in document management system
- Prepare and organize family law documents and forms following specific instructions
- Process outgoing correspondence and sort incoming mail
- Prepare expense reports
- Assist with accounting, billing, and payment tasks
- Perform additional administrative duties as required

**What you must have**:

- 1+ years of experience in a clerical or administrative capacity
- Completion, or in the process of, of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program
- A strong orientation to delivering a superior standard of service
- Superior technical skills including proficiency with document management systems, calendar management,
- Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow up on own initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with lawyers, paralegals, and legal assistants
- Personable, helpful, and incredibly organized
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

**Salary/Rate Range**:The salary range for this role is $52,000 - $60,000 + RRSP + 3 weeks holiday and 12 personal days
