SUMMARY
The project manager is responsible for ensuring that all finance projects are captured, monitored, and managed to successful completion. Reporting to the Transformation Finance Director, this role is the hands-on technical expert responsible for the organization full life cycle approach to projects - from planning through completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for managing and leading multiple projects simultaneously using PMO methodology, standards, and governance.
- Responsible for ensuring projects are completed on-time, on-budget, and cost-effective.
- Provide project management rigor.
- Develop and manage all project documents from project chartering, budgeting, WBS, change request, close-out, etc.
- Responsible for securing acceptance and approval of deliverables from project sponsor and stakeholders.
- Manage, motivate, and coach project team members to ensure completion of respective tasks.
- Acts as liaison between the project team and upper-level management.
- Identify and manage project risk with project sponsor and steering committee.
- Responsible for project communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues, etc.
- Ensure all project documents are stored and managed in project repository.
- Establish and monitor project controls related to scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.
- Manage contractor/consultant relationships relevant to the projects.
- Create and manage the budget.
- Identify issues that need to be resolved during projects and facilitate resolutions.
- Escalate more complex issues to the Director, PMO for resolution as required.
- Conduct training as relevant or required to project team, other project managers or wider team.
- Provide formal and informal training, coaching, mentoring.
- Develop presentations, reports, post-mortem, project close-out.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE
- 8 - 10 years experience and demonstrated ability in managing a range of diverse projects and external client-driven projects, simultaneously and across different time zones.
- Experienced in Lean and/ or Six Sigma preferred.
- A proven track record of delivering projects to time, costs, and quality.
- Experience working in a matrix
- or project-based environment.
- Experience working with and leading projects teams.
- Experience facilitating the resolution of challenging project issues.
- Proven facilitation, negotiation, and influential skills and entrepreneurial approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Builds and manages an effective project team.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Flexible and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
- Software expert (Azure DevOps, MS office, Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio, etc.)
- Ability to travel.

EDUCATION
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of resource management, budget, cost management tool
