**Duties**:

- Use of hand-tools and power-tools to complete startups, winterization, repairs and methodical troubleshooting of irrigation systems.
- Ability to work comfortably alone or with others, to complete installation and repair work.
- Ability to work in a professional, respectful and timely manner when dealing with customers.
- Ability to complete paperwork documenting labour performed, materials used and any recommendations related to the job at hand.

Skills/Assets:

- Prior experience is the Irrigation industry (residential and/or commercial), or with general piping systems.
- Physical fitness (as the position requires digging, lifting up to 50lbs and sometimes working in cramped areas or varying weather/temperatures).
- Ability to think methodically and with common sense when working with and troubleshooting piping systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully when dealing with coworkers and customers.
- Class 5 Drivers license in good standing.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to established company procedures.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.

Credentials of Interest:

- Cross connections Tester Certification
- CIT level 1/2

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
