Purpose: We are looking for an upper-year or journeyman carpenter who is a self-starter with an energetic, results-oriented work style, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Characteristics Needed to Succeed:
Proven experience as a carpenter.

Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials.

Ability to work in Fast-paced environment.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to read technical documents and drawings.

Willingness to follow safety guidelines while on shift.

High school diploma: Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required.

20/20 vision.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Read out blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.

Lay our flooring, roofing, or drywalls to ensure they are level and compatible.

Carve and assemble cabinets, shelves, and other items as required and install them where designated.

Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of the material that are needed.

Build scaffolding and other construction structures.

Cut, shape and smooth lumber, fiberglass, and other material according to measurements.

Inspect the workspace.

Vulnerable Sector criminal record check is required.

Pay: $23.00-$33.00 per hour
