Responsibilities and Duties:
Oversee the work of other carpenters and construction workers, ensuring tasks are performed correctly and on time.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.

Coordinate the ordering and delivery of materials, ensuring that necessary tools and equipment are available for each job.

Train and mentor less experienced carpenters and construction workers, enhancing team skills and performance.

Monitor and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Lead and participate in the construction and installation of building structures and frameworks, using carpentry tools and woodworking machines.

Estimate costs and materials needed for construction projects.

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, maintaining clear and effective communication regarding project progress and any changes.

Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality output.

Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring their longevity and safe operation.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a lead carpenter or a similar leadership role in construction.

Broad knowledge of carpentry techniques and principles.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and sketches.

Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the construction industry.

High school diploma; certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship will be a plus.

Valid license to practice the profession.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods.

Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).

Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions, although 85% of our work is interior work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
