**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements.
- Conduct bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting through detailed account analysis.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review, highlighting key insights and variances.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within the accounting field.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and payroll processing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis and budgeting effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
