We are currently hiring an Insurance Specialist for our National Credit Team based in **Mississauga**.

**YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE**:

- Review customer information related to 3rd Party Liability & Property Damage, and Physical Damage coverage.
- Contact customer and insurance companies to verify existing information and/or obtain missing information.
- For customers without Physical Damage Coverage, ensure Physical Damage Waiver premiums are billed.
- Enter and maintain customer and insurance data in our internal system - Salesforce
- Liaise with company branches and administrative support staff
- Process Personal Property Registry (PPR) in the online portal
- Other administrative duties as required
- Comply with the Health and Safety program including working in a safe and responsible manner

**YOU NEED TO HAVE**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Insurance specifically in 3rd Party Liability & Property Damage, and Physical Damage
- Knowledge of PPR registration procedures
- Legal understanding and knowledge of insurance data, waiver premiums and insurance terminology
- Strong communications in both verbal and written, with strong analytical and customer service
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- High energy with strong desire to deliver results and self-driven
- Positive attitude with a “Can do” mentality
- Ability to respond to potentially tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills and IT proficiency (ie: MS Excel, Word)

**DESIRED**:

- Work experience in the Insurance/ Transportation/ Trailer industry is an asset.
- Ability to communicate in French is an asset.

**Experience**:

- 3rd Party Liability & Property / Physical Damage insurance: 3 years (preferred)
- PPR registration procedures: 2 years (preferred)
- legal insurance data, waiver premiums, terminology: 3 years (preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 3 years (required)
