The Field Coordinator is required to be organized, flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment providing support to the field team. The Field Coordinator will need to work well under pressure, particularly when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays. The ability to coordinate several major activities at once, while analyzing and resolving specific problems is essential, as is an understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings. The Field Coordinator must be able to establish a good working relationship with many different people, including foreman, all trade persons, supervisors, and laborers.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Comply with and effectively implement Urban One’s Safety Program to ensure safety and environmental standards are met or exceeded
- Liaise effectively with Site Superintendent and Project Team
- Interpret and read all blueprints and shop drawings
- Capable of quantity take-offs in the field and from drawings
- Responsible for quality control of concrete work and steel stud framing
- Effective use of using laser level
- Coordinate and delegate tasks and responsibilities to work crew
- Ensure that plans and schedules are being followed
- Receiving and cross-checking deliveries
- Monitor work performance and attendance
- Supervise, develop, and mentor workers
- Ensure quality standards are being met
- Facilitate and promote a safe, inclusive, and team environment

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, or Construction Management
- 3+ years of construction experience or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven track record of team collaboration
- Clear verbal and written communication skills

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
