**FG Deli Group Ltd.**, an industry-leading company based in Langley, BC, dedicated to producing premium, top-quality European meat products. At FG Deli, we value our people and are committed to fostering a collaborative and rewarding environment. We currently have an opening for a **Quality Assurance Manager.**

As the **Quality Assurance Manager**, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of food safety and food technology activities within the production, packaging, and distribution departments. Your role will be integral in ensuring product safety, quality, and compliance, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and meeting customer demands. You will also lead a team of competent leaders and employees and ensure a collaborative, efficient, and positive work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and develop a team to ensure food safety and quality standards are consistently met.
- Oversee the food safety processes, from receiving to distribution, ensuring timely product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and manage food safety programs, including recall and pathogen control measures.
- Ensure compliance with SQF standards, including conducting audits and training personnel.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance food safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Manage the department’s budget and expenses to meet financial goals.
- Foster communication and collaboration across departments to ensure smooth operations and timely problem-solving.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Experience working in food manufacturing environment, working with ready to eat protein an asset.
- Degree in Food Science, Nutritional Sciences, or related field.
- Formal training in HACCP, GMP, and SQF systems with strong knowledge of food safety and quality programs.
- Completed SQF Practitioner course.
- Internal auditing experience.
- Experience in leading teams in food safety and food technology, with a focus on compliance and process improvements.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
