We are currently recruiting for Full Time, Permanent Life Enrichment workers in our Long Term Care Home located in Kitchener, ON.

**Qualifications**:

- Have a post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology or other related field from a community college or university
- Long Term Care Experience in Life Enrichment (including a working knowledge of recreation and leisure, therapeutic programs, restorative care and volunteerism) required
- Restorative Care training is an asset
- First Aid (every 3 years) and CPR Training (annually)
- Food Handler’s Course (every 5 years)
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Ability to communicate well with others

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead and/or assist in program development, implementation, documentation and evaluation in Long Term Care home
- Lead and/or assist group activity programs
- Lead and/or assist one on one activity programs
- Assist residents to and from activity programs
- Ability to assess, document and care plan residents’ recreation, leisure, therapeutic and restorative care needs
- Ability to function in all aspects of life enrichment including recreation and leisure, therapeutic programs, restorative care and volunteerism
