Gis Specialist

**QSP Geographics Inc. (QSP)** is a fast-growing geospatial technology company that provides a range of industry-leading solutions in disciplines that include GIS services, CAD drafting, survey, engineering, and asset management services. We presently have over 120 employees with offices in Toronto and Ottawa.
- Develop and implement data transformation processes to clean, standardize, and enhance data quality during migration.
- Develop and implement data transformation processes to clean, standardize, and enhance data quality during migration.
- Create detailed data mapping documents to define relationships between source and target data fields.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Perform geospatial data preparation, cleanup, and accuracy reviews.
- Automating and integrating data sharing workflows between CAD and GIS systems, transitioning to an ArcGIS editing infrastructure (e.g., ArcGIS Pro and Esri Field Apps).
- Designing and managing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using SAFE FME to handle complex data transformations and migrations effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- A diploma in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field, alongside an advanced diploma specializing in GIS, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server), QGIS, Field Maps, Survey123, or similar GIS software.
- Knowledge of Esri geometric networks and utility network data structures for managing Electrical, Water, and Wastewater systems.
- At least 1 year of experience using Safe Software’s FME Form (Workbench), creating complex workbenches.
- Skills in managing, editing, and analyzing spatial datasets with a strong focus on quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC).
- At least 1 year of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with mapping standards, principles, and best practices in the industry.
- Utilities experience would be considered a strong asset
- Python programming and/or ESRI Arcade experience would be considered an asset.
