CVNQuinte (Community Visions & Networking (Quinte) is mandated to support people who are developmentally challenged who may also be Deaf, hard of hearing, or have a communication difficulty, and who need and seek assistance to enhance their opportunities to live interdependently and to access their community.

Support assignments are coordinated by a Support Coordinator and determined by each person receiving support. **Applicants are required to have a fun personality, responsible, flexible and able to support people in a variety of situations.**

The Community Support Worker team is uniquely flexible. Support ranges from providing help with daily home activities to a variety of interests such as learning to play an instrument, meeting new people with shared interests, playing a sport, or participating in a wide range of community events. We are currently seeking energetic and creative supports to support adults during themed retreat assignments.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $27.95 per hour

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Computer software: 5 years (preferred)
- verbal descalation of behaviours: 1 year (required)
- Developmental Services: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- American Sign Language (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers License and use of a vehicle (required)
