**Position Title**: STORE MANAGER - COWS Spring Garden, Halifax **Description**: At COWS, our staff get to work in a fun, fast-paced environment serving Canada's Best Ice Cream The Store Manager is the foundation for maintaining this positive and productive work environment where teamwork and mutual respect are the norm. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of the ice cream counter as well as the retail boutique. This involves leading by example in the delivery of excellent customer service, ensuring that everyone is contributing equally to the completion of daily tasks, and conveying a sense of pride in the high-quality products COWS is known for **Duties Include (but are not limited to)**: - Demonstrating COW WOW Service, defined as "above and beyond care and attention - better than customers would receive anywhere in the world" - Developing a customer-centric culture within the store - Overseeing the daily duties of staff members (scoopers, retail associates, and supervisors), and ensuring thorough completion of tasks - Responding to customer or staff concerns with positivity and a desire to solve problems - Making weekly schedules and monitoring labour hours - Hiring and training of sales, food service, and supervisory staff - Opening and closing the store - Reconciling cash and preparing bank deposits - Receiving inventory, merchandising new products, and restocking shelves and ice cream dippers - Preparing and serving menu items - Maintaining the company’s high standard for cleanliness in the store and food service area **Qualifications**: - Have a minimum of 1 year of food service or retail experience in a leadership role - Be able to creatively and efficiently solve problems - Have strong leadership and organizational skills - Have a sense of humour **Other information**: - Position Type: Full Time, Permanent - Benefits: Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, RRSP, bonuses, staff discount, fitness subsidy and paid sick time **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Additional pay: - Commission pay - Tips **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Discounted or free food - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - Paid time off - RRSP match - Store discount - Vision care - Wellness program Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
