Our family-owned business operates three private liquor stores in the greater Halifax area: Rockhead, Harvest, and Westside Beer Wine and Spirits. We pride ourselves on offering elite customer service and a curated selection of beers, wines, and spirits not available through the provincially regulated Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation. **The Role**:
We’re searching for a motivated and passionate Store Manager to lead Rockhead. As the manager, you’ll be responsible for optimizing store performance, implementing strategies that drive sales, and ensuring high levels of team engagement and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 12-15 staff to deliver industry leading customer service.
- Drive sales performance while managing costs, including labor, deliveries and maintenance.
- Be a chief advocate of responsible selling in our stores, managing ID checks and not selling to inebriated customers.
- Cultivate a disciplined and accountable work environment while maintaining a positive team culture.
- Implement marketing and sales strategies to meet targets and enhance store performance.
- Foster a customer-centric culture that reflects our commitment to offering exclusive selections.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A passion for people and for the liquor industry.
- Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 5 years of management in a retail environment, with a preference for liquor retail experience.
- A blend of entrepreneurial drive, family-oriented values, and the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to inspire and to hold people accountable to our performance expectations.
