We are currently looking for a highly motivated, service-orientated professional to fill the role of Full-Time
**Agri-Business Underwriter**. Reporting to the Team Leader of Agri-Business & Commercial Auto Underwriting as a vital member of the dynamic Underwriting Team, you will work closely with our broker partners to provide insurance solutions that meet the changing needs of our Agri-Business consumers.

**What Will You Be Doing?**
- Quote, underwrite and issue new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations for all aspects of farm property policies
- Identify opportunities to up sell products, coverage and limits
- Review risk inspections and create risk management recommendations
- Build strong relationships with brokers
- Consistently demonstrate strong communication, decision making and negotiation skills
- Share knowledge and collaborate with team members as required
- Participate in Industry and Ag related events, including trade shows
- Keep current on industry and market trends as they pertain to agri-business

**Who You Are?**:

- Graduate from a recognized diploma program in Insurance or a strong equivalent combination of experience, education and training
- Background and experience in agricultural and/or farm operations
- Experience in the P&C industry, with a focus in agriculture and/or commercial
- CIP designation or actively pursuing
- Detail oriented and well organized professional, with strong analytical decision making and negotiation skills
- Innovative thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well independently with mínimal supervision, or as part of a team
- Ontario Driver’s License and access to transportation
