Purpose
The Contract Administrator prepares, negotiates, and assess business contracts and ensures legal compliance.
What you will be doing
- Develops conditions for bid and proposals.
- Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure the correct equipment, material and subcontractor ser-vices are ordered and purchased.
- Leading contract negotiations and terms agreements by working with parties to address concerns and resolve disputes.
- Coordinating contractual issues with the company’s legal team.
- Ensuring contracts are reviewed and renewed before the expiry date.
- Ensuring contracts and other documents comply with relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Ensure the highest levels of compliance and technical documentation in line with industry protocols.
- Compare and contrast different approaches, methodologies, materials to develop the best outcome.
- Able to work independently.
- Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
- Maintain records and filing for future reference on existing and new contract bids and proposals.
- Develop a vision and strategy to continually evolve current practices into more effective best practices that meet the needs of the business.
- Strong communication skills, the ability to lead meetings, and actively facilitate progress to achieve scheduled goals.
What you will bring along
- 3-5 years of contract administration experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent ability to detect errors and inconsistencies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, CAD and PowerPoint)
- Effective and clear communicator, both written and spoken.
- Strong liaison and networking skills.
- Relevant training certifications in industry topics is a plus.
- Strong understanding of legal and contractual language.
